Know Your Value

To value something is to consider it with respect to worth, excellence, usefulness, or importance. Values are basic and fundamental beliefs that guide or motivate attitude or actions. They help us to how worth we are. Value is the most demanded thing in life which every one wants to have. Everyone has its own value, we can also say that everything on the earth has its own value whether it is living or non living.

For instance:- we can take example of water, i think is the most valuable thing on Earth. As we all know its value that we cannot survive without it. Values are the guiding principles of our behaviour. Our values determine what we consider to be right, wrong, faith, unfair, good, or evil. A person’s values are indicative of their character. If a person has a group of friends, in that group everyone trolls him, makes fun of him, insults him, and no one gives him value. Then that person will surely leave the group. Because everyone wants that he should have value. We can also make iur own values by adapting very good communication skills. I want to share a quote of a very successful businessman Roy Disney about the values, he said that, “It’s not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are”.To know your values, think back to the best and most painful moments in your life. Consider what these experiences reveal about your core values. For example:- if you won something or an award in the past, it’s possible that motivating others and leadership are important values for you. There are different benefits of identifying your values, which i want to mention.

• It can help you to find your purpose.

• It guides your behaviour.

• It helps you to make decisions.

• It helps you to choose a career.

• It can boost your confidence level.

If you gets successful in identifying your values then will know that how valuable you are to others. You will also keep avoiding to go there where you are valued. Living by your personal values sounds easy. Your values are the things that are important to you in life, so it should be natural to live by them. So many of us don’t live by our values. When you live by your values, you feel better about yourself and are more focused on doing the things that are important to you. There are also some personal values which i want to describe. Let me tell you that actually what personal values are? There are the things that are very important to us, the characteristics and behaviours that motivate us and guide our decisions. For instance, you value honesty and you believe in being honest wherever possible and you think it’s important to say what you really think.

Here i also want to write some of the examples of personal values.

• Achievement

• Creativity

• Dependability

• Independence

• Honesty

• Intelligence

• Kindness

• Simplicity

• Success

• Friendship

This is not just end of the list you can find plenty more like this.

Charles Drawin once said that, ” A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life”.  In our real life, values matter a lot because we are likely to feel better if we are living according to our values,  and we feel worse if we don’t live according to our values. Everybody is different, and what makes one person happy may leave another person anxious. Defining your personal values and then living by them can help you to feel more fulfilled and to make choices that make you happy.

“Earn value in such a way that one day your words will be written in quotation marks.”
